Who Walks Behind the Runes
I walk the paths between myth and memory, gathering fragments of story like bones from the forest floor.
I’m Deirdre . . . or RuneWitch to those who like their stories with rune-light and shadows. I’ve been chasing stories since I could read them, collecting whispers of folklore, trembling edges of horror, and wild spells cast in erotic desire.
I write because myth and fear and longing are as much part of the human pulse as love or laughter. My work lives in those cracks: fantasy that smells of old forests, horror that flickers in the candlelight, sci-fi that asks what desire means in alien geometry, erotica that burns and soothes.
I have worn many names in my journey as a writer. In another season, I was known as Liam RW Doyle. Now I step into a new pen name, a new mantle: Rune Witch . . . a voice aligned with what truly moves through me.
I write across thresholds: fantasy that whispers of forgotten gods, horror that drips with the uncanny, sci-fi visions that ask what waits in the stars, and erotica that dances in the forbidden. For me, writing is not merely craft — it is spellwork, a binding of desire, dread, and wonder into words.
Rune Witch Tales is the circle I cast, a place to gather everything I create under this name. Here, imagination is not safe, but it is alive.
If these words call to you, follow them deeper.
